Every morning it was the same thing: stiff knees, a slow shuffle to the coffee pot, one hand on the counter the whole way. Then I tried something from the fridge. One cabbage leaf, rolled flat, a teaspoon of honey, wrapped on overnight under a dish towel. The leaf went on crisp and green and came off limp and warm, and I walked to the kitchen without holding on to a thing. Getting up off the floor after playing with the grandkids came next. Comment recipe and I'll send you the video that walks through the whole thing in more detail.

Creams, heating pads, a whole cabinet of bottles. I tossed them all, because nothing touched those stiff knees in the morning. Then I heard about a strange honey paste made by bees in Australia, gathered by native people there long before the rest of us. It's not the honey in your pantry, and you don't rub it on anything. A couple of weeks in, I was taking the stairs without the railing and getting up off the floor without grabbing the couch. Comment honey and I'll send you the video that explains this trick in more detail.

My knees used to argue with me every single morning. The first flight of stairs, that stiff shuffle to the coffee pot, getting up off the floor after a round of blocks with the grandkids. Then I started making what I call the honeybee cup: one cup of warm water, bath warm and never boiling, a thumb of grated fresh ginger, a pinch of turmeric and one teaspoon of raw honey, first thing on an empty stomach. By day ten the morning stiffness was quieter and I was getting up off the floor without grabbing the couch. Comment honey and I'll send you the video that explains this trick in more detail.

Got tired of bottles that did nothing, so I tried an old kitchen trick instead. One cabbage leaf, rolled till the juice comes up, warmed 30 seconds in a dry pan, wrapped around my knee for 20 minutes. Ten nights in a row. Now I get up off the floor after playing with the grandkids without grabbing the couch, and the stairs in the morning feel like stairs again. It costs pennies. I used to grab the railing on every single stair and dread getting up off the floor after playing with the grandkids. Creams, patches, a whole shelf of bottles, and my mornings still started stiff. Then I found out the honey trick everybody talks about isn't really about the honey. It's honey plus one thing from bees all the way in Australia, and I keep it frozen in a plain glass jar. Every morning, one spoonful and a glass of water. Now I'm down on the floor with the grandkids and right back up. Comment recipe and I'll send you the video that explains the whole trick in more detail.

Stiff knees every single morning? It might not start in your knees at all. A rare honey paste, first thing in the morning, one glass of water. Follow and comment recipe and I'll send you the video that explains this trick in more detail.

One spoon of raw honey before breakfast. Seven mornings. Watch what your knees do. There's more to this bizarre honey trick than the spoon, though. Follow and comment honey and I'll send you the video that explains it in more detail.

I threw out every bottle in my cabinet. Then I found this bizarre honey. One spoon every morning, and look where I am now: down on the floor and back up on my own. Comment honey and I'll send you the video that explains the whole trick.
