This isn’t a sponsored or collab post at all - just something that has helped me get through my master’s program with 3 kids & maintain a 4.0.
Sometimes we go 2-3 days a week after school
The membership makes it affordable. I have the middle level for $11.99 a month and get 100 credits a day that can be split between cards & 30% off food or more credit. I’ve found that it keeps 3 kids busy for about an hour and a half and I can buy more if I need more time. Every single day you go, there is 100 points to use. The kids use the same card every time and save up their tickets so they can get prizes.
I always sit where I can see the door and pop up occasionally to check on them. The one near us is pretty small, so sitting in the middle I have a good view of everything. They only have arcade games now so I don’t have to worry about them disappearing in a climbing structure. My kids are all school aged and the perfect age for this.
The food isn’t terrible and they love pizza. I usually get myself the unlimited salad bar if I’m also hungry. There is no whining about being hungry and they come and go from table to take a bite then go play.
This has been a game changer regardless of where I’m studying. It helps me explain hard concepts, makes studying more organized and I can use actual materials from my courses to I’m learning the right information. I have tried a few different study programs, tried using ChatGPT to explain things, used other methods and this has BY FAR been the best one.
With school breaks, or early release days this has been so helpful. There are just not enough hours in the day to study, run errands, and do other things that need to be done before school is out. This gives me an extension of time to study and they are stoked to go play.
