MY CHALLENGE TO EVERY DPO, AREA COMMANDER, CP AND THE IGP

Enough of the public speeches. Nigerians deserve answers.

What exactly is "return" in the Nigeria Police Force?

Let every DPO, Area Commander, CP and the IGP come out and explain it to Nigerians.

Who buys fuel for patrol vehicles every day?

Who pays for tyres, batteries, engine repairs, servicing and spare parts?

Who funds the vehicles that are expected to patrol communities 24 hours a day?

If divisions stop generating money from the road today, how many patrol vehicles will still be operational next week?

These are simple questions.

Nigerians are quick to point fingers at the officer standing on the road, but very few ask how the patrol vehicle got fuel in the first place.

The public deserves the truth.

If there is adequate funding for fuel and maintenance, show Nigerians the evidence.

If there is a budget, show Nigerians how it gets to the divisions.

If there is accountability, show Nigerians the records.

Stop making the constable on the road the only scapegoat while everyone else pretends the system is perfect.

The reality is that many officers are carrying out enormous responsibilities with limited operational support.

This is not about defending wrongdoing.

This is about exposing reality.

The challenge is open:

DPOs, Area Commanders, CPs and the IGP should tell Nigerians how patrol vehicles are fueled, maintained and kept on the road every single day.

Until that question is answered honestly, many people are only discussing the symptoms while ignoring the real problem.

Nigerians deserve facts.

Nigerians deserve transparency.

Nigerians deserve the truth.

Just imagine… the same person giving relationship advice online is now facing a ₦36 million fraud case in court. Popular relationship therapist and social media personality Blessing CEO has reportedly been remanded in EFCC custody after her arraignment before a Federal High Court in Lagos over alleged financial misconduct.
Life really teaches us that social media fame is not always the full reality. As the case unfolds, more details and the next hearing date are expected to emerge.

Perhaps It’s Time For Nigerians In South Africa To Consider Returning Home

With the troubling rise in xenophobic violence, I believe it’s worth urging our Nigerian brothers and sisters in South Africa to consider coming back home.
