All these fur babies are looking for their forever homes. For the rest of August at both Heart to Home and Bell County Animal Shelter, are having $5 adoptions! There are so many kittens, cats, and dogs looking for their new loves. The kittens are going fast! We had our eye on one and he was gone within 2 minutes! So, if you’re looking to add to your family seriously consider adopting and do it fast!

We tried K1 Belton / The Bloom. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Belton Texas! We got the beef bulgogi and the pork. Both were delicious! We also got a lemonade which is homemade. If you don’t already know Jose loves lemonade, and has basically tried everyone’s homemade lemonade. We easily rate it a 10/10, it was so good. Not only is their food delicious, they are also open late. Sunday-Thursday they close at 12am, and Saturday-Friday they close at 1am. They have a bunch of other Korean dishes and street foods. We’ll definitely be back to try other things they serve. If you haven’t already check them out you won’t regret it!

We checked out Mini Moos Coffee & Farmstand this weekend! If you haven’t heard about them yet, it is a coffee shop in Belton Texas. They have different drinks and pastries. Inside they have merch, plushies, fresh eggs, fresh meat, honey, produce, and other items. They also have cows, longhorns, ponies, along with other animals you can feed and visit while you’re there. It’s all outdoor seating on a large porch. There’s a play area for kids and corn hole. We got a Chai Latte, Freshly Squeezed Lemonade, and The Longhorn Latte. The Longhorn Latte was so good, and we are not coffee lovers😳. This is a super cool and unique spot added to Belton!

Guesssss whatttt…

Silo of Screams Haunted Attractions tickets for 2026 are now for sale! If you’re a horror lover like us, this is a must for the fall season. Even if your aren’t, they have low scare night and family nights! From September 25th-October 31st the 5 haunted house will be open to the public. Link in comments!

There are going to be select days where different events take place.
Family Day - October 18th & October 25th
Low Scare Nights (no actors, haunted houses are open)- September 25th & October 15th
Behind the Scenes Tour- October 14th & October 25th
NEW THIS YEAR- ADULT NIGHT (adult beverages on site)- October 22nd
