The Call of God: Seven Times He Spoke a Name Twice

In Scripture, there are moments so powerful that God calls a person’s name twice — Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Samuel, Martha, Simon Peter, and Saul. Each double‑call carries a unique purpose: mercy, warning, commissioning, correction, or revelation.

In this message, Pastor Sammy walks us through Genesis 22, Psalm 119:18, and several key passages to uncover why God repeats a name… and what it means when He calls yours.

You’ll learn:
• Why Abraham’s “Abraham, Abraham” was a call of mercy
• How Psalm 119:18 should shape your Bible reading
• The pattern of seven double‑name calls in Scripture
• How God uses these moments to reveal His heart
• What it means to respond, “Here am I, Lord.”

If you’ve ever wondered how God speaks — or how to recognize His voice — this teaching will strengthen your walk and open your eyes to “wondrous things” in His Word.

Breaking Down the Tradition of Hating Your Enemies

In Matthew 5, Jesus confronts one of the most deeply rooted traditions of His day — the idea that you should “love your neighbor and hate your enemy.” But in the Sermon on the Mount, He flips that thinking upside down.

In this message Pastor Joey walks through why Jesus challenged tradition, how love first appears in the New Testament, and what real evidence of love looks like — even when the word “love” isn’t spoken.

We explore:
• The six “You have heard it said…” statements
• How traditions can overshadow truth
• Why Jesus calls us to love, bless, and pray for those who hurt us
• How the church sometimes wounds people by expecting them to fit our traditions
• What it really means to follow Christ in how we treat our enemies

If you’ve ever struggled with bitterness, hurt, or the tension between tradition and truth, this message will help you see Jesus’ words with fresh eyes.

Be encouraged — real love leaves evidence. And Jesus shows us exactly what that looks like.

When God Waits Until the ‘Right Time’ — Sarah, Abraham, and You

Have you ever wondered why God sometimes waits… and waits… and waits before He answers a prayer? In this message, we walk through the miracle births of Scripture — from Sarah to Mary — and discover how God works in the impossible and shows up at the exact right time.

In this study, we explore:

Sarah’s miracle birth at 90 years old — and what it teaches us about God’s timing

The pattern of miracle births throughout the Bible that point directly to Jesus

Abraham’s faith in Genesis 22 and why he believed God could raise Isaac from the dead

How God tests, grows, and strengthens our faith through seasons of waiting

Why trusting God’s timing is one of the greatest acts of worship a believer can offer

From Sarah’s long wait… to Abraham’s obedience… to the Lamb God provided… this message will encourage you to trust God even when the answer seems delayed.

📖 Key Scriptures:
Genesis 22 • Hebrews 11 • James 2 • Selected passages on miracle births

Baptism, Boldness, and Being the Light in a Dark World

Baptism is a glorious thing — not because it saves us, but because it declares, “I’m not playing by my rules anymore. I’m playing by His.” In this message, we look at what it truly means to walk boldly with Christ in a world growing darker by the day.

Jesus said, “You are the light of the world… a city set on a hill cannot be hid.” When believers stay silent, hide their testimony, or dim their light to avoid offending others, the world loses the very hope God commanded us to shine.

In this sermon, we talk about:

✨ The beauty and meaning of baptism
✨ Why boldness is necessary for every believer
✨ How hiding your light affects your home, workplace, and witness
✨ The power source behind every Christian’s light
✨ Why Jesus’ message was offensive — and why ours may be too
✨ How to stand for Christ without fear, shame, or compromise

If this message encourages you, share it with someone who needs a reminder that their light matters — and the world needs it now more than ever.

In this opening session, we explore:

The four great events of Genesis: Creation, the Fall, the Flood, and the Tower of Babel

The call of Abraham in Genesis 12 and why his life still shapes our faith today

How Genesis answers life’s biggest questions:
How did we get here? Why are we here? Where are we going?

God’s purpose and plan for every believer — from salvation to daily living

Poor in Spirit to Filled With Righteousness — The Path Jesus Describes

In this powerful service, we begin with a heartfelt time of communion, remembering the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As Scripture says, “Let a man examine himself…” — a reminder that the Lord’s Supper is not a routine, not a duty, but a delight for every believer who comes with a sincere heart.

After communion, Pastor Joey Dedman opens Matthew 5 and begins walking us through the Beatitudes, showing that Jesus wasn’t simply describing different types of people — He was revealing a pathway to God.

From being poor in spirit (recognizing our need for God)…
to mourning (realizing that religion alone cannot save)…
to meekness (understanding our dependence on Him)…
to hungering and thirsting after righteousness…

Jesus lays out a spiritual progression that leads us from emptiness to fullness — from the absence of God to a life filled with His righteousness.

If you’ve ever wondered what the Beatitudes truly mean, or how they apply to your walk with Christ today, this message will bring clarity, conviction, and encouragement.

Standing Strong When People Let You Down”

In this message from 2 Timothy 4, Pastor Joey Dedman reminds us of a powerful truth: in your Christian walk, you will encounter all kinds of people — those who walk away, those who stand faithfully beside you, and those who may even try to harm you.

Paul experienced Demas, who forsook him… Luke, who stayed with him through every valley… and Alexander, who actively opposed him. Yet in all of it, Paul declared: “Notwithstanding, the Lord stood with me and strengthened me.”

This sermon encourages believers to stay faithful, stay grounded, and stay focused — even when people disappoint, discourage, or abandon you. God’s presence never fails, and His strength never runs out.

Finish Well: Fight the Good Fight God Called You To

In this message From Pastor Joey, we look at Paul’s powerful words in 2 Timothy 4:6–8, where he reflects on a life poured out for Christ. Paul didn’t live a perfect life, but he lived a surrendered one — and he finished well. This sermon challenges every believer to get off the bench, step into the calling God placed on their life, and give Him their very best.

If God has placed breath in your lungs, He has purpose in your path. You are not done. You are not disqualified. You are not forgotten. You are called.

What You’ll Hear in This Message:
Why Paul’s final words matter for us today

What it means to “fight the good fight”

How to stay faithful when life gets hard

Why finishing well is more important than starting strong

A challenge to step boldly into your God‑given purpose

Scripture Reference:
📖 2 Timothy 4:6–8 (KJV)
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith…”

The Gospel According to Your Example
In this week’s message, Pastor Joey reminds us of a powerful truth: every believer is already in the ministry. Whether you realize it or not, your life is preaching a message—at home, at work, in public, and especially in front of the next generation watching your every move.

From a simple moment with his granddaughter Mallory to Paul’s charge in 2 Timothy 4, this sermon shows how God uses our everyday actions to influence the people around us. You don’t need a pulpit to preach. You don’t need a title to minister. If you’re a blood‑bought Christian, your example is already telling the story of Jesus.

In this sermon you’ll hear about:
Why every Christian is called into ministry

How your daily habits shape the faith of others

The importance of living ready “in season and out of season”

What it means to reprove, rebuke, and exhort with love

How God uses ordinary moments to make an eternal impact

If this message encourages you, share it with someone who needs the reminder that their life matters and their walk speaks louder than their words.
