Seeing the sea for the last time...
Moon, the seriously ill dog, was always happiest by the sea. On her 22nd birthday, her family took her back to her beloved beach. They said goodbye, and she passed away with one last look at the sea, the sweet salty breeze, the sound of the waves, and in the loving arms of her family. ❤

Today I finally moved in with my Rescue Mama! For the past 2.5 months I was staying at a paid foster while she was busy helping my rescue buddies Khwab, Snowy and Timmy find their forever homes. Now that they’re all settled, she says it’s my turn at last. Woohoooo! 🥳
I’m still the same wiggly lil’ bub.. blind, bendy-leg, and full of mischief, but my heart is HUGE for cuddles, crunchy bikkits, and all the snoozes. Pray for mew, fwens… I hope the stars shine bright on my journey, just like they did for my pals ✨

Today we celebrate your very first birthday, Kira...
And our first six months together, after I saved you from such a hard reality where, no matter your being still a puppy, you already knew the human violence and the atrocity of living chained up all day long, waiting to become a fighting dog.
And at times I can still read the suffering you experienced into your expressions or your behaviors in some specific circumstances, telling me the sadness of your story and making me feel so strong the urge to protect you.
So today even more I do promise that you'll never have to live any more suffering and that I'll give you forever all the love and care you deserve so much...
