This one hits home. There was a time early in my faith walk when I clung so tightly to outcomes, timelines, and MY version of success that I left no room for God to move. I thought I was trusting Him, but in reality, I was gripping control with both fists. That’s when He whispered to my heart: “Let go, Mark... and let Me.”
And everything changed.
Let Go Let God is so much more than a catch phrase--it’s a battle cry for surrender. We weren’t created to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders. We were designed to release, not control. God doesn’t need our grip. He needs our trust.
When we let go of fear, anxiety, and the need to control, we let God be who He already is—sovereign, faithful, powerful, and good.
"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7
Think about that—God wants our burdens. He’s asking us to place everything at His feet. Not some things. ALL things. Because He cares for us deeply.
So today, whatever it is you're holding onto—a dream, a fear, a relationship, a future you’re trying to force—open your hands. Surrender it. God can do far more with our surrender than we can with our control.
Let go. Let God. And watch what He does.
