Born on October 8, 1941 in Greenville, South Carolina, Jesse Jackson graduated from the public schools in Greenville and then enrolled in the University of Illinois on a football scholarship. He later transferred to North Carolina A&T State University and graduated in 1964.
He began his theological studies at Chicago Theological Seminary but deferred his studies when he began working full-time in the Civil Rights Movement with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He was ordained on June 30, 1968 by Rev. Clay Evans, received his earned Master of Divinity degree from Chicago Theological Seminary in 2000.

Thomas Kent “T.K.” Carter, an actor best known for his role in John Carpenter’s classic 1982 horror movie The Thing, has died. He was 69.

Carter was found dead in his Duarte, Calif., home on Friday after a 911 call was made, the call came in at approximately 5:42 p.m. and no foul play was suspected. A cause of death has not yet been announced.

Born on Dec. 18, 1956, in New York City, the actor was raised in Southern California’s San Gabriel Valley. He made his acting debut in 1976

Target is trying real hard to get black ppl back into the store by any means necessary 🥴
Every time a business gets called out for their bs they start lowering their prices on black/ brown items as if that's going to make us give you our black dollars again 🙄 for a business to be named target you sure seem to keep missing the mark 😂😂
