Frieren Season 2 episode 2 is going to continue to play the greatest hits. The Hero of the South episode introduced a man who chooses to make a great sacrifice in order to carve a path for the future. I personally thought the episode displayed how well a mini story can be crafted to be impactful.

The second half of the episode focused on the thievery of an important sword to a noble family. We learned that demons are very materialist in this world, adding another wrinkle to why they can never be trusted. I know there is a lot of only discourse about demons in Frieren but it's important to take the demon's in this series at face value from what the narration is telling us, there are no good demons - that's all there is too it. Looking forward to what the remaining 8 weeks have in store for us.

I started watching this anime/donghua called "The Daily Life of the Immortal King" and its been an interesting ride! Recently, got to episode 14 and holy hell! All hell broke loose and it's by far one of my favorite anime crash outs. The Shadow Leader deserved everything that happened to her AND MORE.
