pCom XL in action. Montgomery Virginia Communications team outfitted the system for their response needs. Excellent integration.

Montgomery region cache team members worked throughout the night to support Virginia Department of Emergency Management and Bedford County in the search for 83-year old missing senior Lina Toot.

Team members scouted a location to deploy a mobile tower unit carrying interoperability repeaters. After deploying the tower unit, coverage was tested among the search area and radios were distributed to ground teams.

Operations continue today, and are hampered by ongoing wet weather with winds expected to increase tomorrow.
