Shrive - the musical.

It's been a while since our last piece of news so we're putting a toe back in the water with a reliable topic.

We can confirm that there are unconfirmed reports that Piggery Lane Players are working on a musical celebrating the life so far of Josh Shrive. It's understood the show will cover Shrive's lifetime highlights but won't shy away from the more difficult topics such as his football "career".

We also understand that Shrive's character will be played by Simon Dufty as Matt Damon was unavailable.

Nhill to host Commonwealth Games

RTNN can exclusively reveal that it now owns the rights to host the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

"It was a no-brainer for us", said RTNN chief editor, Mr Raaar. "We paid $1 for the rights, admittedly a bit on the high side, and we could make up to $20 on the advertising alone".

"Nhill and district has all of the facilities needed. For example, the rowing can be at Dimmy, the triathlon at Nhill Lake and the synchronised swimming in Lake Hindmarsh", said a Games spokesperson.

"We're also going to include AFL given the Josh Shrive factor which of course will massively boost the tv audience and visitors to the region".
