I've purchased and installed plenty of landscape lights for customers, as well as at my own home.

I'm a big fan of Amp Lighting .

They have quality fixtures and an excellent warranty, which I recently used for the first time yesterday.

After a short phone call the issue was easily resolved and a replacement fixture was shipped overnight to me.

Something to consider when replacing a post light fixture... avoid purchasing one with an integrated LED. When they LED unit fails, the fixture must be replaced in it's entirety. I replaced this one for a customer today, replacing it with a fixture which uses a standard light bulb.

A common repair I make is replacing capacitors on ceiling fans. Whether it's a homeowner complaint or noted on a home inspection report, this is a common issue.

Over time capacitors fail, causing ceiling fans not to spin as quickly as when they were new.

Most capacitors can be purchased for less than $10, which is considerably less than purchasing and replacing the entire ceiling fan.
