It was an absolute pleasure playing the role of Trent Henderson of TMT Productions last night as McDuffie County said thank you to Charlie Newton and his two decades of community service. As loyally as Charlie invested in his community, TMT has invested in having everything to make the production of its client’s events top-notch. Saying that, that load in and load out had my body complaining loudly this morning. 😂

It was incredible privilege to help organize and sponsor this event, a “Great Christmas Clean Up” for an elderly and deserving family this Christmas season. I’ve long been blessed with amazing friends who also find joy in sharing love and spreading good. Mr. James Gunby told me a week ago the trees that Helene brought down, destroying his fences, would never be cleared in his lifetime. He never asked for help, instead heartbreakingly had just accepted the damage wouldn’t be undone. Last Saturday’s cleanup brought volunteers from almost two hours away, also from Augusta, and people helping from right here in our hometown. The right people, with the right resources, in the right loop, at the right time. I’m especially thankful for my friends Charlie Newton and Jamie Black who likely knew exactly what they were doing when asking for someone to take damage pictures for the Gunby’s, and also being the first to say “absolutely” when I called back to say let’s pull up and fix it. Chances to bless other aren’t always opportunities this big, but can have just as big of an impact.
