Let me be clear!
I will never keep my child from someone out of spite, but I WILL keep my child away from anyone that is toxic, doesn't make an effort to know them, makes them compete for attention, or disrespects me in front of them.
I do not care what anyone thinks about that or how I'm viewed.
I know in my heart that I'm doing what I need to be doing.
So next time you wonder why I don't bring my child around someone, remember this...
It's never out of spite, but the protection of my child, their heart, and mental health.
