PWInsider.com was sent word that longtime referee David Lowe, who was nicknamed The Family Man in California's UPW promotion has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer.  A Go Fund Me Campaign has been launched to assist Lowe and his family at this link.

My Cancer Story Part 5

Thank you for your continued support and prayers as I continue to move forward. I came back to the hospital last Sunday with the same symptoms. It seems my heart and lung are going to continue to fill until the cancer can get treated.

The GoFundMe is still active...if you get a chance, please please continue to share and donate if you can.

They have drained 3 liters total from my lung and about another liter from my heart. After draining, they installed a catheter to keep it draining...hooking a tube from my heart to my lung, so it all goes there...then the catheter drains it out. this should keep me out of the hospital long enough to see the oncologist.

Speaking of the oncologist, his office finally called to set up an appointment...but won't until I'm discharged. he is taking me first priority once I'm out...hoping for Tuesday or Wednesday.

they are ignoring my a fib, as i have no other symptoms. they don't want me to look at my heart rate, because it causes anxiety.

More on this as it develops...next step is to downgrade out of the CVICU...hopefully tomorrow.

"Wow late 20th century was really a great time to be on this planet." I felt this was 24 years too late. it seems that no one cares for the comment, you think Covid caused a panic? Hold my beer! This documentary is really just a smattering of clips from news reports and interviews before Y2K happened...no new data, interviews, people...nothing. This may be worth a watch for those born after Y2k or those too young to remember it.

An ex-special forces operative takes a job to provide security for a journalist as she interviews a dictator. When a military coup breaks out in the middle of the interview, they are forced to escape into the jungle.

"You know what they say...a man who touches honey will eventually lick his fingers." There is nothing really special about this, but it was a fun watch. There is plenty of action and comedy...nothing stands out though as being exceptional. The one thing I will say is that it has rewatch ability...I would see this again and I would buy a Blu-ray of it for under $10.

Two adolescent Navajo cousins from different worlds bond during a summer herding sheep on their grandmother's ranch in Arizona while learning more about their family's past and themselves.

"Just drive! One hand on the steering wheel and a cigarette in the other." This started out just horrible for me...it seemed poorly written and terribly acted to the point that I was hoping for a power outage to end my suffering. As the movie progressed, the story got better...I liked the perspective here with the indigenous people. It wasn't enough for me to see this again, but it might be worth seeing for those that would be interested in the story.

Follow these two comedy icons behind the scenes throughout a tour that will follow the couple as they tell firsthand accounts of their early lives, their struggles, their triumphs, and their brotherhood.

"Why does the black man have to get the watermelon salad?" This was a documentary about these two comedic icons coming together for a tour. This follows them on their journey and talks about their hardships, good times, and how they basically butter each other for 90 minutes. It was funny and worth seeing, but it would have been perfect if they added their stand-up routines...at least part of them.

"This will be one of the biggest hauls anyone has ever seen." This was a fantastically shot film, but the subject matter and the animal cruelty may be too much for today's world. Like it or not, this is a part of history and it needed to be told. Nicolas Cage does a good job here and the story is one of triumph, heartache, and rage. This is worth a one-time watch, but not something I would revisit.
