Some music history, because even though I'm in talk radio, music is my first love. In 1975, 10cc's single 'I'm Not In Love' peaked at #2 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song was inspired by Eric Stewart's wife, who felt he didn't express his love often enough. Despite his bandmates' initial disinterest, Stewart knew they had a hit when he heard the secretary singing and the window cleaner whistling the tune.

This broke my heart; my childhood hero passed away. I always wanted to have the muscles he had and he's the reason I started working out. So many kids in my generation looked up to him as a hero. This one really hurts!!!

I know this got lost in the news, with Connie Francis, Malcom Jamal Warner, and Ozzy Osborne passing away, but Robbie Pardlo, the former lead singer of R&B group City High, died at 46 yesterday. Those of my generation might remember City High had songs like "What Would You Do?" and "Caramel". So young may he rest in peace.
