On December 6, 2025, a FCSO deputy conducted a traffic stop on Mt. Zion Road near Route 180 after observing a vehicle with a broken taillight and no functioning passenger brake light. During the stop, the driver, 18-year-old Christian Foster, stepped out of the vehicle, and the deputy noticed an extended magazine protruding from his waistband.
The deputy immediately secured a handgun from Foster, later identified as a stolen Sig 365 reported out of Pennsylvania. The firearm contained multiple rounds in the magazine.
Foster was taken into custody and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center Central Booking.
