Hi Everyone.

Late last year I was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer, which strikes almost exclusively non smokers. I requested the first available surgery date, and on Dec. 14th I was in an operating room. I had the lower third of my lung removed.

It has been a very slow recovery with many setbacks.

Thank you for your patience. My first loyalty is to my corporations, but I will be bringing the newspaper back online as soon as my health improves.

Hello Friends! Thank you for checking us out. For many years I have wanted to open a newspaper in my home time of Tigard, Oregon. Did I say many years? Make that many decades.

I am shooting for an early March opening. I have the luxury of doing this now because we can put the rather massive resources of my global companies into the project, and my staff have generously offered to help.

The newspaper has absolutely no fees, and we do not even charge for ads. I don't need to. Everything is free as a service to my hometown, Tigard, Oregon.

The paper is housed on Vontarga's large commercial server in Sillicone Valley. This also covers the bandwidth. Much of the online infrastructure is completed. Now we need to start fleshing it out and adding content. LOTS of CONTENT!

We are mostly online, but I intend to mail at least one large print issue every year, in October, to every registered voter in the City of Tigard. :)

I'd like everyone from Tigard to let me know if you have any story ideas.

This is gonna be a blast!
