BREAKING: Ryan Routh Convicted in Attempted Trump Assassination Case

Ryan Wesley Routh has been found guilty on all federal charges for his attempt to assassinate former President Donald Trump at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. The charges include attempted assassination of a presidential candidate, assaulting a federal officer, and multiple fi****ms violations.

Immediately after the verdict, Routh, who represented himself, tried to stab himself in the neck with a pen in the courtroom but was quickly restrained by court marshals.

This conviction serves as a powerful reminder: attacks on our leaders will not be tolerated, and the rule of law will always prevail. Routh now faces the possibility of a life sentence, with sentencing scheduled for December 18, 2025. Armed Impostor Detained at Charlie Kirk Memorial Site

Security concerns ran high in Arizona on Sunday after an armed man pretending to be law enforcement was taken into custody near the memorial for conservative leader Charlie Kirk.

Turning Point USA executive producer Andrew Kolvet explained that the man claimed he was providing advance security for a guest who planned to attend the service. However, Kolvet clarified on X that the individual was not part of the official TPUSA security team or the U.S. Secret Service and had failed to coordinate with either.

Authorities say the suspect, identified as Runkles, faces charges of impersonating a law-enforcement officer and carrying a weapon in a restricted area. He was released on bond from Maricopa County Jail as federal and local investigators continue their work. Kolvet stressed there’s no evidence of an intentional plot, noting that the incident occurred before the venue was fully secured and locked down.

The memorial for Kirk—who was tragically assassinated earlier this month while speaking on a Utah college campus—was expected to draw a packed audience, including President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and numerous elected officials. Kirk, only 31, leaves behind a wife and two young children.

Kirk’s murder is the latest in a troubling string of political violence across the country, from the brutal slayings of former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband to the arson attack on Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s home. Former President Trump also endured two assassination attempts during last year’s campaign.

Instead of uniting Americans, the attack on Kirk has further exposed the toxic atmosphere stoked by radical voices online. Extremist accounts have even celebrated his death and called for open conflict—proof that political hatred on social media continues to spiral.
