River has been putting the miles on! got us on some wild birds! River was able to help out yet again! We had a great day, 11 birds flushed 8 hens 3 roosters with only 2 roosters in range. was a sniper and dropped them both! A lot of walking for only 2 birds however I say it was a great day. River is getting better and better and I’m stoked he was able to get some birds up for us and was able to make two retreives!

I'm going to be talking about this bird for a long time! I completely underestimated these wild birds!
River did a great job and sadly I missed a lot! Sometimes these birds flushed when I had 0 thought they would making me jump more than the George Lopez intro blaring on the TV at 3am hahaha. But finally I was able to connect a shot! This birds will be mounted along with another bird River flushed with the help of Rambo and Daisy!! I will never forget this day! I've been telling how thankful l am letting me stay with him to the point he is probably annoyed hahaha so for one final time THANK YOU!

After 9 miles of walking over 8 hours and River not being able to keep his eyes open…. We did it I got my first wild birds, but more importantly River got a taste of wild Iowa birds and he was able to flush and retrieve some!

Great to help give back to an organization that helped me grow my passion and love for the sport! Had a great opportunity to take some pictures and videos for a youth pheasants forever hunt hosted by . Growing up my dad took my brother and I to these youth pheasant forever hunts 6 years in a row (every year I was eligible) and i couldn’t thank him enough! It was something we looked forward to every year more than anything! Pheasants Forever is a truly great organization and has truly helped keep this sport going in an area of declining population. I am very happy that I was able to help give back this past Sunday! Great to see kids and adults still invested!
