Hi friends!

Many of you have asked where I am and I wanted to give you an update. I’ve been pretty quiet over here and haven’t been live since last year 😬 Life has honestly just been…a lot. Between working full time, trying to finish renovations, preparing this house to sell and just everyday life, there hasn’t been much extra energy left at the end of the day. But last night I stood upstairs, looked around at this room, and realized how far we’ve actually come. 🥹

This space has been years in the making. Dust, drywall, paint, stress, second guessing, exhaustion…all of it. And while it’s still not “perfect,” I’m finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. We’re getting closer to moving forward, building our dream home, and starting a new chapter.

I also just wanted to say…I miss you guys. I miss creating. I miss chatting during lives. I miss this little community more than you know. ❤️

Although I’m quiet, I’m still here…just currently covered in drywall dust and survival mode 😂

Thank you all for sticking around while life has been life-ing. 🫶🏼

Happy Friday friends!!

A few years ago I had the brilliant idea to paint over this beautiful pine paneling. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 At the time, painted everything was “the thing”…and now here I am spending my weekend undoing my own decisions one panel at a time. 🙃

But honestly? Seeing this gorgeous wood come back to life has me SO excited. The warmth, the grain, the character…why did we ever cover it up?! 😍

After what feels like YEARS of renovations, drywall dust, chaos, delays, life happening, and projects constantly getting pushed aside…our drywall finishers start Monday and for the first time in a long time, I’m finally starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. 🥹🙌🏼

This house has held a lot of memories for us, but the dream has always been moving to wide open spaces. The goal is still to finish this place up, get it sold, and finally start building our dream home on our property. 🏡✨

So this weekend you’ll find me covered in stripper gel, sanding dust, and regret for 2016 Nikki’s design choices. 🤣 But little by little…we’re getting there♥️

Life’s been doing its thing and I’ve been moving a little quieter these days—but this community? It never leaves my heart. The creativity, the laughs, the support… it’s something really special. 🥹

So consider this your midweek reminder to do something that makes you smile—create something, sip your coffee a little slower ☕ or just take a minute for YOU.

Happy Sunday friends 🤍🐰

Pulling this sweet bunny piece out from last year and I still love her just as much. There’s just something about soft florals, a little texture, and a touch of vintage charm that gets me every time.
I remember kind of “winging it” as I went (as usual 🤣), layering bits and pieces until it just felt right… and honestly, those are always my favorite projects.
