Welcome to Amur Golf This face book is designed to try to help All Golfers learn about the "TRUTH" GOLF EQUIPMENT AND COPIES There was a good story July 2010 in golf magazine about counterfeiting golf clubs. They state that counterfeiting clubs is estimated at $6.5 billion a year, that is an extreme loss to the company's of the original design, and a greater loss for those who believed they bought the real deal. The truth is the Big Name Company's don't like it when copies are sold here in the U.S.A. or China, so my question is: Why do they do it? Why are they making counterfeits of AMUR and selling copies? A big named company (right now I choose not to say who) is making copies of AMUR drivers and selling them as thier own design. AMUR'S story is only one of many stories about big company's taking advantage of the smaller company's, so let's start with this one first. My driver name is AMUR, I invented what others are calling "DUEL CROWN TECHNOLOGY", others would like to claim this technology because it is the best, but like I said, AMUR is the sole inventor of this design which is the cut around the top outside edge of the crown. AMUR will be filling a law suit in Federal court soon and seek criminal charges against the men who falsely claimed AMUR'S invention as thier own, also against the company itself. I will keep you informed on any progress about this case as we procede. Here's a good question for the consumer; How would you feel about paying $250.00. or better for piece of equipment just to find out later it was only a copy? Not so good I would think! To all those who purchased copies of AMUR, of course under another name, I feel the need to tell you that I would take it back to the seller and question them on thier buying and selling practices, I know you had no way of knowing, maybe the seller had no way of knowing, well you do know now, and so do they! Maybe together we can prevent this from happening to other small company's as well. It is hard enough to get a product out into the field because you have to compete with all the big names, it's even worse when one of them see's your product and loves the way it preforms, and then steals your design that you put your time and effort and ideas into!
