-Large tree limb down in Britton (Lenawee Co.)
-Several trees down near Oak Openings Metropark
-Large tree limb down on powerlines in Perrysburg
-Several trees down in Huron (Erie Co.)
-Large tree limb down in Berlin Heights

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for Lucas and Wood Counties until 1:30 PM. This part of the storm is moving east at 15 mph and producing wind gusts up to 60 mph.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for Lenawee and Monroe Counties until 1:00 PM. This line of storms is moving at about 25 mph and is producing wind gusts up to 60 mph.

*Wildfire Smoke Plume Northern Great Lakes*

The air quality is in the good to moderate range through the Great Lakes region ahead of the cold front that will move through our local area later today. Behind this front, wildfire smoke has become dense and is staying closer to the ground in southern Canada, North Dakota, and Minnesota. Current projections show multiple plumes of smoke will continue to impact these areas over the weekend, but could also move through Wisconsin and northern Michigan. As of right now, it appears our local area will just be brushed by minimal smoke levels that would not have much of an impact on air quality. If something changes, we will let you know. If the fires continue, there could be a bigger air quality concern late week into next weekend as the winds in our area will be coming from Saskatchewan and Manitoba, where the wildfires persist.
