God isn’t late. He’s not ignoring you. And He’s not wasting your pain. Sometimes the answer is already on the way, just not on our timeline!

✨ A little Fig & Feather housekeeping ✨

If you hang out here for cozy spaces, honest words, and leadership + faith reflections, I’d love to invite you to connect with me over on Facebook too.

My personal page, “Leah Broach,” is where I’m sharing more:
• longer-form reflections on life, faith, and leadership
• behind-the-scenes of the Fig & Feather studio dream
• gentle encouragement for people who are leading, loving, and juggling a lot

Nothing is changing here on Instagram — this will still be our cozy corner. 🕊 I’m simply inviting you to another space where we can go a little deeper and have more conversation.

If you’d like to follow along there too, the link to my page is in my bio, or search for Leah Broach. And if you come over from The Fig, tell me in the comments so I can say hi properly. 🤍

Santa, please consider this my annual performance review:

✅ Kept tiny humans alive
✅ Attended approximately 4,000 events
✅ Answered emails, texts, and group chats I did not create

In light of these contributions, I am humbly requesting… slightly less chaos and slightly more toilet paper. 😂

Five years ago, my world was in complete upheaval—set against the backdrop of a pandemic Christmas.

In the middle of all that uncertainty, I started writing little Advent “love letters” and sharing them on my social pages. They were written first to my own heart… to remind me of the beauty of Jesus, the hope of Advent, and the very reason any of us can keep going, keep hoping, and keep celebrating Christmas. 💌🕯️

What surprised me was how many of you began reading along, saving the posts, and telling me they had become part of your own Christmas rhythm. Over time, these daily reflections turned into a beloved tradition we shared together.

Last year, I gathered those writings into Love Letters of Advent—a gentle daily reflection for the weeks leading up to Christmas. Think simple Scripture, a short reading, and a quiet reminder that you are deeply loved, right in the middle of your real life.

And now, you can purchase and download the digital version instantly, so you can start wherever you are in the season. 🌲

Tap the link in my bio to learn more and grab your copy of Love Letters of Advent. I’d be honored to walk through this Advent with you. 🤍

Snow outside, glow inside. ☕️✨
Fresh snow on the ground, hot coffee in my hands, tree lights twinkling and a warm house wrapped around it all. Holding this quiet December morning with so much gratitude. 🤍

One thing I’ve learned in change-heavy seasons is this:
You can’t always stabilize the environment, but you can stabilize your leadership.

So I’ve stopped asking, “How do I make this stop shifting?” and started asking, “What do I want to be true of me no matter what shifts?”

Because when leadership changes, goals pivot, or the ground feels unsteady,
your center becomes your strategy.

A few coaching prompts for you today:
• What are the non-negotiables you lead from?
• What values do you want people to experience when they’re with you?
• What’s your next clear, faithful step before you try to solve the whole season?

You don’t need perfect conditions to lead well. You need clarity, courage, and a steady return to what’s true.

What’s one thing you want to stay true of you in this season?

If you’re in an “ordinary” season that feels confusing or quiet, hear this: God is still moving in the small places. He’s breathing on the dreams you set aside and writing scenes you won’t understand until later.

You don’t have to map out the whole road. Just keep walking with Him, one step, one yes, one ordinary day at a time… and let hope rise.

God calls us by our destiny, not our history.

That means when God looks at you, He doesn’t see a walking list of failures, regrets, or “should’ve known better by now.” He sees the daughter He designed on purpose, with purpose. He sees the story He’s still writing, not the chapters you wish you could erase.

Redemption is not God pretending your past didn’t happen. It’s Him taking all of it—every wrong turn, every broken place, every season you thought was wasted—and weaving it into something beautiful and useful in His hands.

When you trust Him with your life, He doesn’t call you by your worst moments. He calls you by your new name. Chosen. Forgiven. Free. Called.

He leads you, speaks to you, and uses you through the lens of what He’s making you into, not what you’re ashamed of.

If your history is loud right now, let this sink in: you are not disqualified. In Jesus, your story is not over, and your destiny is not cancelled.

Someone needs that reminder today—maybe it’s you.

Good news for Fig & Feather Studio & Shoppe: the story keeps unfolding! Today brought a yes, and I’m taking the next steady step. Would you pray big, bold prayers with me—asking God for favor in every conversation, detail, and open door ahead? 🪶🙏
