Y'al look at this. I noticed yesterday that I could no longer block obvious hackers, but I found a way around it.
You have to go into your settings and then click settings again and then click block and actually type their name in.
So I was screenshoting it in order to remember the name after I got through all of those steps.
Today I was told I cannot block this person because they have locked their profile and security keeps me from screen shotting their page and it won't even let me type their name in.
So I have no way at all to block anybody from my personal business page that is full of community information and archives and can't be lost, but they're throwing people in Facebook jail everyday over using words that don't even mean what they think it does.

Concessions
Most love stories are bound together in a book through sewing and gluing, but not all of them. Some of the best fairytales are stapled together.
“I knew she was the one from the moment I saw her,” shared Shannon Staples, smiling at his wife, Debra, in adoration. “We had only been dating two weeks when I told her I loved her.”
His smile lit up the room, as it has any time he has glanced her way, for almost 13 years.
If you have ever been at an event this couple has catered or hosted for the community there is no way you could have missed it.
And to Debra, he is her Knight in Shining Armor.
After all, upon their first meeting, he did ride up on a white horse.
“I was riding horses with some of his friends. I didn’t even know him. His horse, Chipper, came up and kicked me in the knee,” she remembered.
Shannon laughed, “She said I told the horse to kick her.”
“He apologized and asked for my number,” she laughed. “After that he kept trying to message me on Facebook and I wouldn’t respond. I finally asked him if he wanted to get out. We spent the next few weeks riding horses and spending time together. Back then it was about whose horse was the strongest, we were always competing. We’ve been together ever since.”
Who knew that nudge from the white horse would pull together one of the most loved couples in the County, blending their families into one. This perfect love story, 10 years in the making.
“In our lifetimes we are not always given a second chance at a perfect love, but luckily these two found just that. I’m so blessed to have such a perfect role model couple. They have always taught me to never settle for anything less than I deserve and they have set the bar high," explained the couple's daughter Taylor Staples. “This is true love-what we all hope for-and this is what my parents share.”
Shannon laughed again, “She wanted to play hard to get.”
Debra nodded, “He asked me to marry him three times. We even set a date once.”
Shannon noted that his original plan was to propose at a UK basketball game.
“We are both big fans,” Debra interjected.
Shannon nodded, “But we got to Lexington and the tickets were $500!”
“We didn’t go to the game," she laughed. “Our parents taught us to be penny pinchers. We save money anywhere we can and that was not happening.”
Instead, her knight asked her privately, dropping to one knee, not wanting to wait any longer.
The third time was the charm, when she finally said yes, setting a date for June 11, 2016. “It was exciting every time he asked, but I knew I couldn’t keep him away any longer.”
“I was shocked when she finally said yes.”
Yet, the couple was not married that day or even that year. It would take four more years before Debra would finally say I do.
She laughed again (so much love and laughter between these two), ”There was another wedding in town that day and it was a big one. We canceled ours to cater theirs.”
Minding those pennies again, but it has definitely paid off for this couple who were building their business and planning for the future.
On March, 24, 2020, to the excitement and merriment of their children, families, and their community, the two wed in a ceremony with over 350 guests. “I left it open to anyone who wanted to come.”
And boy did they ever.
“We were so happy to see so many come out to support us.”
And yes, if you were wondering, they catered the wedding themselves.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, this much-loved and hard-working couple's story, belongs to Shannon and Debra Staples, owners of Hog Wild BBQ, and the parents of Taylor, Tanner, Trevor, Raylynn and Rylan.
That shining armor turned to tin lining the walls and that white horse, now a pig, sporting the words BBQ, the two run one of Monroe County’s famous eateries. Make sure to go and see them on Valentine's Day night for a special steak dinner and you can witness in person, the way Shannon looks at his bride and their once-in-a-lifetime, stapled-together fairy tale.

If you see comments from strange names out of certain Countries and they are posting inappropriate things, it is hackers. I'm not sure why, but I used to be able to just automatically block them as soon as I saw the names.
Facebook doesn't give you that option anymore, so just try to ignore it. Let me know and I'll delete the post, but unfortunately I cannot ban or block these hackers.
This makes absolutely no sense to me but a lot of things that Facebook does anymore doesn't.

According to Punxsutawney Phil, who saw his shadow this morning, we have six more weeks of winter.
The County page says that they cannot pick up a dog belonging to someone.
This statute states different.
Not to mention they had a meeting voting they could and would and it was publicized in the local paper!

$80 was raised for Kosair for Bobby Ferguson (my daddy) to throw a pie in Lisa Jobe's face.
We had so much fun at the Kosair Chili Supper and Auction tonight. Whoever raised the most took a pie to the face and least had to kiss a pig. Watch the whole thing. Too funny.

The James Chism American Legion Post held a wreath laying ceremony on Friday, Nov. 11, at the courthouse. The weather did not stop these few from coming out. This should give us all something to think about as our Veterans did not have the choice to stay in out of the rain, cold, heat or other elements. Thank a Veteran today and every day.
