Between competing, work, life, and so much travel this year, I can confidently say that I’m a pro at figuring out where the best places to train are. I was lucky enough to stay and this hotel gym is hands down one of my favorites.
This recovery workout was everything I needed. It was challenging, heavy-ish, slow moving and a nice re-set from all the high intensity I’ve been doing.
This is not for time, this is take your time. As you can see I moved pretty slow through each rep. I didn’t try and beat the clock. That’s not what this is. However long it takes is however long it takes. No rush, just movement.
10 rounds
Heavy sled push 100ft
Then
5 rounds
-Stress carry Lunge 50ft
(Your implement is held in front of you, not on your shoulder)
-10 ground to over the shoulder
-10 box step over
-10 ground to over shoulder
-10 Stress carry lunge back 50ft
1 minute max calorie bike
Rinse and repeat.
Finish all sleds first then move on to your 5 rounds of work. Hope you enjoy. Let me know if you tried it! 🫶🏼
