Grand Island- Possible water rescue area of Navy Island ( near the North Bridge) City of Tonawanda and River Road mutual aid. 21 year old female last seen on a green jet ski over and hour ago. Launched from the Canadian side. Last seen in the East River near the canal.
- Searching area of Gateway harbor
- Coast Guard has made contact, female is fine and is returning home. Terminating command, all units are in service.

Town of Tonawanda/ Amherst- male robbed at gunpoint. Niagara Falls Blvd and Betina. At the Northtowns Animal hospital. Vic went to the Speedway on the Tonawanda side. Description is 2 males 1 white one black. Wearing all black Nike track suits and black shiestys. Displayed a handgun. Last seen headed East on foot.

Many roads and underpasses are flooded. Multiple calls already for autos in flooded roadways. Remember turn around don't drown.
-Buffalo Skillen St underpass, Elmwood and Hertel under the railroad tracks, 1172 Hertel road is flooded from Virgil to Delaware. Water Rescue team to head to Elmwood for 3 people trapped.
Sheridan Dr at Belmont is flooded multiple cars stuck.
--Kenmore is responding to a basement wall collapse on W Hazeltine 2nd one reported on Victoria.
-2152 Delaware in front of Marshall's car stuck in the water. Adult and child in the car.
- (Kenmore) Parkwood and Myron report of a male who fell in a sewer grate.
- ( Kenmore) 400 Block W Hazeltine basement flooding
- Cheektowaga is also now being affected. Rt 33 east is closed at Union. Sounds like the end of the 33 is flooded.
- (TOT) Lowell and Englewood flooded basements.
- ( TOT) Liston car in the water
- (Amherst) Brantwood 2 people rescued from a car in the water.
- Buffalo is picking up all the companies in North Buffalo that was handling the flooding calls.
- ( Amherst) 500 Block of Grover Cleveland Highway is flooded with multiple stuck cars.

Amherst/ Getzville- Due to a large volume of calls. 1st alarm companies are being requested to Getzville Station 1. Multiple calls for trees on homes and power lines down or in trees. A command post as also been established at Station 1

Town of Tonawanda- Sheridan and Delaware Rd 2 car accident. Then there is a secondary accident involving a patrol car. The original accident is being moved to the Tim Hortons parking lot.

Town of Tonawanda - motorcycle accident in front 2126 Niagara Falls Blvd. Amherst also notified but it is a town accident. Ellicott Creek fire is responding.

At 1pm on 8-23 Town of Tonawanda police, paramedics and the town ambulance were dispatched to a bicyclist struck at Sheridan and the HAWK bike path crosswalk (Gettysburg). The town ambulance and patrol arrived and found a cyclist down with serious injuries. The rider a 70 year old male, was taken hot to ECMC with 2 town paramedics riding. The driver was located around the corner on Gettysburg next to the back alley for Paula's Donuts. Ellwood Fire was dispatched for traffic control. The Town of Tonawanda Accident Investigation unit is handling. More info on the condition of the person struck and the circumstances around the accident will have to come from a town press release

Town of Tonawanda- bicyclist struck at Sheridan and Gettysburg. Serious injuries. Sheridan will be closed in both directions. AIU is responding.1 taken hot to ECMC with 2 paramedic riders
