In times of transition, it’s easy to worry about tomorrow. What you are going through is merely preparation for what’s next. And guess what? What’s coming is going to be greater than your expectations.

I’m TAZ ISOM — a creator driven by vision, emotion, and purpose.

Art has never just been something I make… it’s how I translate the worlds, stories, and energy I carry inside. Every sketch, character, and concept is a reflection of growth, imagination, struggle, faith, discipline, and becoming.

I feel called to create work that inspires people to think deeper, dream louder, and reconnect with the parts of themselves they’ve hidden away. Whether through art, storytelling, design, or expression, my goal is to leave impact — not just content.

This journey is bigger than attention or trends for me. It’s about building something meaningful, authentic, and timeless. And I’m just getting started. ⚡🖤 FOLLOW ME… If you haven’t already 👍

So if you want to change the atmosphere of the place you live, you must figure out the source of energy that it feeds on.

White men on X are discussing owning Black women as s*x slaves. Hundreds of people are liking the tweets (sad world we live in 😞 ).

Of course, this goes to show a bigger issue... How is the black woman, the progenitor of humankind, always hypers*xualized?

Sadly, this phenomenon is rooted in slavery and racism. This untrue belief and stereotype that they are inherently promiscuous, seductive, and lewd, oftentimes termed as "Jezebel. This same mindset adultifies young black girls, and culture subjects black women to excessive s*xual objectification in the media and society.

Let's be real, society has always been s*xual. For millennia, brothels have existed, as early as 2400 BCE, in Sumerian temples. But for most of history, race didn't define it. Racism and slavery fed this giant that has caused society to have no respect for the black woman.

Not only is it a white man's issue, but this has spilled over into white women, who oftentimes in the professional realms discriminate against black women because of this bias. It also has an echo in our black men. They berate, abuse, and use our women for their own selfish game as notches on their belt and body count. The media doesn't help because oftentimes, they portray black women as always s*xually available. From the roles of st*****rs, ho, baby mama, and other dehumanizing stereotypes.

Research even shows that little black girls are perceived as older, less innocent, and more knowledgeable about s*x than their white peers, leading to lower protection and harsher treatment in school and society. And before you say that some of this may be true, why wouldn't it be? Sadly, having to deal with this for generations has forced our black women into narrow roles, and this challenges their ability to define their own identities, so they play into the role that society has defined for them.

That is why it is important for us (black culture) to help our women reclaim both their divinity and s*xuality. Our women need to know they are gods, portals, bearers of life that, without them, our community cannot and will not survive.
