🚨 This week, on the first day of the new school year, a Leander ISD bus carrying 42 students and one driver rolled over into an embankment in Travis County, northwest of Austin.

This incident occurred the same day another Texas district, Cleveland ISD, experienced a bus rollover — their second incident in three days.

💥 Seymour Community School District has rolled out 20 new Blue Bird Corporation Vision propane school buses, delivered through Kobussen Buses, Ltd, marking its first propane-powered fleet.

⚡ Cache Public Schools in Oklahoma has rolled out six new Thomas Built Buses Type C electric school buses, paired with six Tellus 30kW DC chargers, in partnership with Highland Electric Fleets.

In an industry first, First Student's proprietary behavioral training and support program, First Serves, is now approved to provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for social workers in Michigan. The program has a track record of reducing behavioral incidents on school buses by an average of 27%.
