Happy Indigenous Peoples Day!!! This is taken from a book from the 1800s and you can see in the liner notes the original source from ship logs from the 1500s. You can see the ship has entered the Saint Lawrence Seaway (the ancient trade route used for 1000s of years previous to this era).. if you read the last 3 lines you can see the Anishinaabe were NOT SAVAGES. There are many other written documents that can attest to this. I am writing about this and hope@to share it with you when it’s ready!! Also a reminder that Mexicans are Indigenous.

Just sitting here reflecting how blessed I am to still be able to do what I do! Some may know me as a DJ or e a rapper. Truth I do both incredibly well. I AM HIP HOP. All of it. Life Rexall, Myka 9, Thirsty Fish, Apollo Brown, Vinnie Paz, Ill Bill, Josh Martinez, Guilty Simpson, Dice, Three 6 Mafia, Keith Murray, Yin Yang Twins, Drezus, Def I, Stretch Money, Jon Connor, DJ Head, Rob Base and DJ Easy Rock and quit a few more… these were just off the top of my head. If you are not familiar with some look em up!! I got to see so many cities and towns because of music. I feel incredibly blessed, it’s crazy cus I feel like I’m just getting started. Notes From the Road: Traverse City, MI

We had our first official sold out show of the tour last night in Traverse City, Michigan. It felt really good because I’ve been coming here to play shows for a long time, maybe going back to 2004-2006. My guy Skin told me it was my seventh show here, which is wild because most of the venues I played aren’t even open anymore. But thankfully the people in Traverse City still rock with me.

The show was held in Eugene’s Record Co-op, a dope record store that hosts shows for bands. It’s not a big spot, but we sold out to capacity and then let a few more people in who couldn’t get tickets. Because it was all ages, we saw parents there with their teenage children who were digging it and even knew the words to a couple songs. For many, it was their first hip-hop show.

Merch was crazy. By far the biggest merch night of the tour.

The crowd was dope and the vibes in the room were super dope. Everybody was present and really excited to be there.

Since it was also an early show that ran from 7-10pm, I was done performing by 9:30pm, and the people who attended were home before 10pm.

I honestly don’t think this show could’ve gone any better and I can’t wait to get back up here again. I gotta give maximum props to my guy for supporting me over all these years and always being down to book me up here. It’s dope to see all those years of building come to fruition for a show like this. And another big shout-out to for hosting the show. Please support this man's shop and business because he is a class act and was a pleasure to work with.

This weekend we head into Canada for two shows: Friday night in Toronto at Blk Space and Saturday night in Ottawa at Cassette. Get your tickets and I’ll see you there!
