Being a stylist with Celiac can be challenging. We get told so often to “just wear gloves” I did. However they don’t go up my whole arm and this is the result every time I use redken shades EQ since 2021. So many people think gluten can only affect someone when eaten but that isn’t the case for everyone.

Though everyone isn’t affected by celiac doing hair can impact health in a l out of other ways too, from back problems, carpal tunnel, chronic illnesses and stress all the way to contact dermatitis that affects many as well and so on.

We do what we do because we love it and sometimes that means sacrificing our selfs for people to feel happy and confident when they leave our chair.
