Studio Tour Magazine

Studio Tour Magazine Studio Tour Magazine celebrates artists, workspaces, and creative living. Follow along and live artfully.

We spotlight early and mid-career talent, regional art scenes, and the belief that life itself is a work of art. Studio Tour Magazine www.studiotourmagazine.com was founded by artist and writer Thom Reaves, who believes that the backstories of artists are just as important as the art they create. Studio Tour Magazine was created as a site for art lovers and collectors to be exposed to new artists

and learn about the art they can collect. We will showcase artists from around the US and regionally in the New Jersey-Pennsylvania area. With artist interviews, inspirational quotes and art tips Studio Tour aims to be a conduit to all that art can be.

Speaker Reveal: Erik Weedeman (Intersections Forum)

We’re excited to announce Erik Weedeman as a featured speaker at the Intersections Forum.

Erik’s work moves with that rare combination of precision and play — the kind of visual language that feels engineered and improvised at the same time. He’ll be joining us for a talk and cross-disciplinary conversation exploring how artists and architects build meaning: through structure, materials, light, rhythm, and the choices that turn a space (or a surface) into an experience.

If you care about where art and architecture overlap — not in theory, but in practice — this is one you’ll want to be in the room for.

More speaker reveals coming soon.
Presented by Studio Tour Magazine.

Speaker Reveal #2 — John Hatch

When conversations about art and architecture are at their best, they’re not just about aesthetics — they’re about thinking, teaching, and shaping how ideas move from theory into the real world.

We’re honored to announce our second speaker for the Intersections Forum: Art + Architecture:

John Hatch
Architect, educator, and longtime advocate for thoughtful, human-centered design.

John’s work sits at the intersection of practice and teaching — where architecture is not just something you build, but something you explain, question, and pass forward. His career reflects a deep commitment to clarity, structure, and the responsibility architects have to the people who inhabit the spaces they create.

Paired with Geddes Ulinskas, John brings a complementary voice — one rooted in discipline, education, and architectural thinking that lasts beyond trends.

Together, they help frame the foundation of this forum:

Not just what we make —
but how we think about making it.

More speakers to be revealed soon.

Why I Created the Intersections Forum

For years, I’ve noticed something missing in creative conversations.

Architects speak to architects.
Artists speak to artists.
Designers speak to designers.

But the most interesting ideas happen in between.

The Intersections Forum was created to bring these voices into the same room — not to sell, not to posture, but to talk honestly about how creative disciplines influence one another.

March 10–12.
Hosted by Studio Tour Magazine.

Why Art + Architecture Belong Together

Art and architecture have always shaped one another — yet we often talk about them as separate disciplines.

Architecture gives form to daily life.
Art gives meaning to experience.

When they intersect intentionally, cities change. Homes change. Studios change. Culture changes.

This belief is the foundation of the Intersections Forum: Art + Architecture, taking place March 10–12.

More soon.
