Why I cried when I read this review 🥹

When I tell you, the heart of my business is to make sure my couples feel seen and heard, I mean it. But it’s hard to explain what it feels like when my couples feel and see me. 😭

Whether it’s our first consultation call, to reviewing timelines, answering questions or hugging goodbye on the wedding night, I want my couples to feel cared for and supported every step of the way. And the fact that I get to create a beautiful memory masterpiece at the end of it all, just feels like icing on the cake.

To and and to all my Fleck Film couples past, present & future— THANK YOU for letting me take care of you and for taking care of me in return ❤️ My heart is so so full.

And this is why you get the wedding film…

Moments after their wedding ceremony ended, Makayla and Joe were whisked away on their golf cart and immediately started talking about the ceremony and the moments they *didn’t* get to see.

Even when you vow to be present and intentional, the wedding day has a way of getting away from you. Think of your wedding film as an insurance policy for your wedding day. Even if it goes by in a flash, you’ll be able to press play, slow down and relive it all again.

This is a trend I can get behind.

Instead of walking around to all your guests’ dinner tables during dinner another option is to welcome them in to the reception space.
* it’s simple and sweet
* it guarantees you see everyone
* it lets you and your guests eat without interruptions

I usually steer clear of wedding trends that don’t seem genuine to my couples but this one feels like a trend that should stick!

Wedding day reflections✨

I loved how laid back they were. They were just so sure of themselves. And each other.

Makayla was the one comforting her family and friends telling them not to “boo-hoo” cry. She is such a sweet and thoughtful soul.

I loved getting to film the groom and groomsmen s***t shooting on a crisp fall morning. (That’s a wedding day first for me)

I loved how Joe so badly wanted to sneak a peek at Makayla during their first touch. They held back tears as they whispered the sincerest, I love yous.

I loved how much they love each other’s family. Truly loved. No “in laws” here. Just one big family.

I loved how all day long the sky was gray but the pinkest sunset peeked through for a few moments.

I loved how much they love their people and it showed.

Makayla and Joe’s love is uncomplicated. It’s steadfast. And it’s so so sweet. I’m forever grateful to have been a part of their day!

1️⃣ week countdown to forever ✨

This is what it’s all about.

After having to change his original proposal plans, Joe proposed to Makayla at the farm where they fell in love.
They’re nervous, they’re happy, they’re surrounded by loved ones.
After saying “yes!” Makayla jokes that she doesn’t have her nails done (we get it girl🤣💅🏻)

I just love how real and raw and genuine their love is.

I don’t always get to meet my couples in person before the wedding day. But I make it a point to get to know as much about them as possible so on your wedding day, we connect and I understand what matters most.

Getting a peak behind the scenes of their proposal day was so special and I can’t wait to incorporate this moment into their wedding film.

I am BEYOND excited to capture M&Js wedding day 😍
