I’m so excited, and I just can’t hide it…

I’ve listed a few item that would be helpful throughout the year as I serve struggling readers inside and outside the classroom. I absolutely love what I do and am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things once the school year starts. Your participation in helping provide supplies and rewards to my classroom(s) would be greatly appreciated.

Additional items such as snacks and goodies are big motivators also! (Ideas/Listed in comments below)

Although learning to read is a lifelong gift, students are motivated to do their best… and I love rewarding them for their successes!!

Not everyone is going to love reading, but everyone deserves to know how to do it. Literacy is liberty! -Unknown

Learn the facts about dyslexia. It’s not a vision issue. Dyslexics do not SEE things backwards. They process and manipulate sounds differently than others. Although there's no cure for dyslexia, early assessment and intervention result in the best outcome. Sometimes dyslexia goes undiagnosed for years and isn't recognized until adulthood, but it's never too late to seek help.
