También Somos Americanos is a multi platform magazine fully committed to help newcomers become Americans. Immigrant integration is our goal and we work for it with high quality journalistic stories that provide our audience with useful information about the top priorities for most of the 10.7 million Latino families that are making the United States their new home. Big data say it very clear: Latinos numbers will define the new face of this country. From a bicultural perspective is clear that these families need to bridge the cultural gap between their Hispanic heritage and their new home reality so that they can advance in areas such as kids’ education, health care and prevention, life style, business development and personal finances, among others.

The latest presidential election opened the nations eyes on immigration. The new consensus recognizes the reasons that make the United States the most welcoming country in the world. The same ones that motivate million of immigrants to come here and make this country their home. The Reform to fix the broken immigration system could arrive soon, but that will hardly finish the task. Immigrant integration is more that a piece of paper, it is a whole process that involves several big steps in the economic, civic and social arenas. Editorially, rather than focus on the immigration issue Tambien Somos AMERICANOS cares about immigrants, their economic dynamism (a 54 million persons market); their role as consumers ($1.2 trillion buying power), as well parents and active members in their communities.
