Most people stick to the traditional 1:16 ratio, but when I make iced coffee, it’s a whole different game. To keep my iced coffee from tasting like “coffee water,” I brew at a 1:10 ratio. Since the ice melts as you pour, starting with a more concentrated brew ensures every drop stays rich and flavorful.

The "No-Dilution" Iced Coffee RecipeRatio:

Approx. 10–12 oz
Ingredients:

20g Coffee (Medium-Fine grind)
200g Hot Water (90C)
50g Ice (In the server/carafe)
Extra Ice (For the serving cup)

Making a cortado at home is all about balance. It’s simply half espresso and half warm milk. The goal is to let the milk "cut" through the coffee's strength without hiding the flavor.

What You’ll Need:

1. A double shot of espresso: Usually 18g in and 36g to 40g out.

2. Milk: About 2 oz of your favorite milk.

3. A small glass: A 4 oz or 5 oz glass is perfect.
