It's International Children's Book Day. Remember reading as a kid? Magic moments. Some of my fav series - Madeline, Nancy Drew, Mrs. Piggle Wiggle, The Borrowers, Laura Ingall's Wilder, the Boxcar Children. So many more! In fourth grade, I ordered so many books from Scholastic, the company thought I was a teacher and sent me all the teaching material. 🙃

So many reasons to come on down to the Tucson Festival of Books on Marach 15 and 16! Books, authors, exhibitors, Science City, music, food. Free and open to the public!

The very cherished Tucson Festival of Books is set to return March 15-16 at the University of Arizona campus. Renowned as one of the nation's premier literary festivals, the annual book celebration unites authors, readers and families for a weekend of literary exploration and community engagement.

Tales set in Tucson. Adding some of these great reads to the book tower on my nightstand. (Will be an ouchie if it topples in the wee hours.) My recommend: High Tide in Tucson: Essays From Now or Never by Barbara Kingsolver.
