Full time RV Life + Intentional Living We bought an Airstream, downsized, sold our house, quit our jobs and now live on the road fulltime to have more time to do the things we love.

Jumping back to a few weeks ago, before life got insane.
We had friends from back east come out to Sedona to visit and to celebrate our friend’s birthday. Most flew out, but a few drove, and one couple even bought a brand new trailer on the way here!!
We were excited to show them how we boondock, so we found a nice spot we could all fit.
Unfortunately, the experiment was short lived. It started raining shortly after they arrived...more rain than we’ve ever seen in Sedona. ☔️
Our friends understandably sought refuge in hotels, the couple with the new trailer escaped to Moab, and we had to stay put cause we couldn’t get the Airstream our because of the mud. 😞
Guess it was a premonition of what was to come in March. At least we got to spend one night out here with them! 🙌

It's been a little while since we've posted anything on hear. A few of you reached out with some concern. Thank you for that! 🙏
We've been hunkered down outside of Sedona for the past month now. We didn't intend to stay in this spot for this long. At first heavy rains trapped us here by creating a massive mud pit of our escape route. Then we started feeling ill and after reading and hearing so much about the importance of distancing, we figured this was as good a place as any to isolate ourselves.
While boondocking is a great way to separate yourself from the rest of society, it comes with many challenges, like water collection and washing clothes at a laundromat. And living in a small space like this can getting a little claustrophobic when you're used to spending most of your time out exploring the trails and towns you're near, but now you can’t do that.
Fortunately, we can go for short hikes near our camp spot, we have a network of kind friends nearby willing to offer help, and we're getting to see some great sunsets out here. 🌅
But we're looking for a place that's a little more convenient for the next month or two, so we're renting a spot in Prescott that has solid internet, laundry, a flushing toilet, and unlimited water. Really hoping this place doesn't spoil us!
How are you fellow road warriors doing? Have you found a safe haven in these trying times?
Wishing you the best! - Jess and Jay ❤️

GUYS...one of our absolute favorite experiences from last summer was when we met new nomad friends, Julie and R**t, from .outside and paddled the Teton river together! ⛰
We laughed, shared stories, saw soooo many moose and owls 🦉- it was out of a dream!
We feel super compelled to share this today because they’re launching a kickerstarter for .outside which they created to make it easier to find & book outdoor adventures, and their campaign launches TODAY Saturday 2/15!
Please consider checking out their Kickstarter to learn more and consider becoming a contributor! (link in bio!)✨

We're suckers for latte art, so we had to share this spot!
We also like getting away from the trailer for a bit to do some work. It's nice to see and talk to other people sometimes. It's easy to go a little stir crazy being trapped in there for long periods.
This particular cafe , is located in a really cool spot in Tucson called MSA Annex . It's a bunch of small businesses housed in some tastefully repurposed shipping containers.
There's also a great bottle shop and bike shop on the grounds as well as a sushi place and vegan burger spot. What more can you ask for? Definitely swing by if you're in the area!

We love posting pics of Cooper, so we really couldn’t resist taking part in this!
It’s another attempt to get some use out of photos we just have sitting around. I mean, how often can you feel justified in posting your dog airing his junk on Instagram???
Also, thanks to for Cooper’s corporate headshot for LinkedIn! 👊

Ever feel like you’re hanging on for dear life, just trying to keep all the madness in check?? 😬
Sometimes you need to step away from the source of the insanity and remember you’ve got something solid to stand on in life! 🦵
Jess loves doing the “clinging to a cliff” pose. We have so many images like this around! Had to get one out somehow, hence the semi-cheesy advice...but it’s true!!!🧀..also claiming bonus points for use of leg emoji. 🦵
Stay sane everyone!!

Sometimes we end up taking a bunch of photos at the same time, mainly because we have a camera with us and the light is great. 🔦
This was one of those nights.
Often times we post a photo from that set, and then ignore the others since we feel like we’re sharing the same thing we did already.
This leads to a scenario where we have photos we like that just sit on our hard drives and don’t see the light of day. 💾
Trying to put an end to that practice by sharing another pic of Jess and Mr. Cooper enjoying a desert sunset! 🐪 ☀️

We talked a little about how Cooper collects pokey things in our last post. He’s collected his fair share of cholla balls and cacti spines over the last few weeks here in Tucson. 🌵 🤕
It doesn’t help that he also loves stick like things, sometimes in the form of dead cacti like this one here. Just holding it was a little painful, no idea how he bites it like this...guess his passion for sticks and tug outweigh any temporary pain. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️

After a few days of rain, the clouds parted and the sun came out. ☀️
We had to stop on our drive home for a quick hike to watch the sunset. 🌅
A fun time was had by all, except for maybe Cooper at this moment...considering he has a cholla stuck in his side! 😣

Being back east for the holidays had us a little cooped up at times. 🏠
Luckily we got out on a hike with some friends and their doggos before the snow melted! ⛄️ 🐕
