It always makes me pause when someone says “just a courthouse elopement.”
Because there’s nothing “just” about it. ✨

Courthouse weddings hold the same weight, the same vows, the same life-changing promises as any other wedding day. The walls may be simpler, the guest list shorter, but the love? The emotions? The significance? All still beautifully powerful.

Whether it’s a grand ballroom celebration or two people saying “I do” in front of a judge, every love story deserves to be celebrated and remembered.

Courthouse elopements are intimate, intentional, and so full of meaning; and documenting them is one of my favorite things as a photographer.

Lia + James said yes in the heart of Phoenix, just the two of them and the city skyline. A courthouse elopement that felt more honest, more them, than anything traditional ever could.

They laughed the entire session… and I loved every second of it 🤍

Kalen + Mackenzie’s Mt. Lemmon engagement session felt like a real-life rom-com in the mountains—warm light, cozy outfits, and a whole lot of love. These two are getting married this fall at Mogollon Rim, and from the second we met, I could tell capturing their story was going to be something special.

We explored the winding roads and hidden spots of Mt. Lemmon while they giggled, danced, and leaned into the magic of this moment in their relationship.
