Super fun first playtest!

I really wanted to make the game where each level is harder than the last in a gradual way so during my playthrough I took a picture of each level. To my surprise the pictures reflected that gradual pace I was looking for!

I didn’t end up finishing the game because I knew I was going to lose. But it was, for the most part, playable. 😃

Also, what do you think we should call this game?

While Voidsmiths continues to be playtested, I also came up with a game idea that uses transparent cards!

It's a solo game where you play as a ghost hunter entering a haunted hotel that has rotating rooms (the transparent cards). You'll move around gaining coins (someone tell me why my brain made the coins as buttons lol) to spend at the haunted market owned by a friendly ghost just wanting his hotel back. The items you buy from the market will help you defeat enemy ghosts and everytime you defeat a room of ghosts, you move to the next level of the building, adding a new transparent room card, and more ghosts to the equation.

You win by clearing the entire hotel of ghosts but can lose by running out of health or time.

Got the prototype in for Voidsmiths! I wasn’t a huge fan of the custom tokens I made. They were too flimsy and got lost on the board too easily. I think these 3d printed tokens are much better!

Sell Sheet for Voidsmiths coming along nicely. What do y'all think? Too much? Too little? Any feedback to make this game look "out of this world" (ba dum tsss) to publishers and/or customers?
