Last night was a lot of fun at the Geaux - Jack Of All Shows Theater/Event Center. A special thanks to Gene Barber and Lisandro Boccacci for hosting the Indie Showcase event where the Bare Bones International Independent Film & Music Festival 25th Anniversary Video made it's Debut. It is a gratifying feeling to see your hard work up on the Big Screen.

I want to thank others for helping make last night a success. Thank you to Oscar and Sharon Ray, the Bare Bones Art Society, Todd Roberts for initiating the idea to do this project, Steve Cypert for building the wonderful intro and outro pieces for the video, and everyone else who contributed to the video production.

Most of all I would like to thank my wife and family but most of all my wife... for putting up with me.

Last night's work XFN 394 at The Cove. When this fighter came out I thought, "What in the world are we about to see?" This old guy dominated his younger opponent with calculated moves.

He was the crowd favorite and they were going absolutely wild over and over with his dominant take downs. He finally won with an arm fold that caused his opponent to tap out.

Honestly, I have never been a fan of MMA or of boxing except when I was a kid watching Cassius Clay aka Muhammad Ali and listening to Howard Cosell narrate the blow by blow. This fight was the highlight and this fighters finale for MMA. He retired a winner!

The next XFN 395 will be August 16 at The Cove, River Spirit Casino.

There it is! The video that kicks off the Bare Bones 25th Anniversary Awards Show this afternoon. I tried to fit everyone into this video but sadly it is missing a few folks. It was a lot of hard work to get this done in the short amount of time I had left myself.

Thank you to everyone involved, especially Diane House Gann-Harshman who help with production at the Circle Cinema and supported this project with communications and with the aid of her organization skills.

Now, on with the show! I hope to see you there!

3 ND's and 1 Polar stacked and taped to my phone. That is how I viewed the solar eclipse. About $600 to $800 of glass. 😆 it didn't get dark but God did turn down the lights.
