Part 4: The mystery is finally SOLVED! 🛑💨 Part 4 of the windshield wind noise saga.

I took the rig to Shoreline Boat and RV Repair here in Tulsa, and they hooked a Seal Tech machine up to the galley vent to pressurize the cabin.

We did the bubble test all around the windshield… and found absolutely nothing. It was completely sealed. 🤯

The real culprit? An air leak between the generator bay door and the generator tunnel on the front side of the motorhome. Once we replaced that seal, the wind noise completely disappeared. 🤫✈️

Part 2: Spoiler alert: Driving all the way back to the factory still didn't fix it.

In April, I headed back to the REV Group in Indiana to finally get things right. They replaced the windshield, repainted the front end, fixed the generator bay and slide tray, and cleaned the messy sealant off Megawatt's paint.

Everything looked perfect... until I hit the highway. The wind noise was STILL there. 🤦‍♂️ Everyone had a DIY "magic fix" suggestion, but none of them felt reasonable for a rig like this.

Part 1: How does a simple windshield wind noise turn into a multi-state, multi-month repair nightmare? 🙃 It all started in February.

Local shops wouldn’t touch it without a waiver, so I drove Megawatt all the way to the REV Group factory in Indiana. On the way? Rock chip. At the factory? They literally ran a ladder into the front of the rig. 🤦‍♂️
