I spend a lot of time at Max’s school because, well… I can. 😂
A couple of weeks ago, I made a sign 🪧 to let people know there was elderberry in the refrigerator to sample, and some of the kids came over to help me. 🤲🏼
I was using those old-school teacher board letters—the ones people make with Cricut machines now. I got them from the Dollar Tree. 💵🌳
While I was settling in, a couple of kiddos came over to watch. I asked if they wanted to help, and they both said yes. I handed them each a pile of letters. I’d say a letter, they’d help me find it, and I’d glue it down.
One of those kiddos is the assistant teacher’s daughter. 🧑🧒
Yesterday was the school’s 💕 Valentine’s Day Ball 💕 and that sweet girl handed me a Valentine goody bag labeled “Ms Blair.”
Her mom told me that when they were making valentines for the kids and Ms. Lea, she asked if she could make one for “Max’s mom,” because she remembered helping me with the sign.
I felt so seen. 🥹 I don’t think I’ve ever received a sweeter, more genuine valentine. 💌
As ✨Sustain Your Soul✨ returns to markets and community spaces, you’ll see a difference in how I move.
There’s no hustle now, because I’m no longer building from survival. When Sustain Your Soul first grew, it was because it had to. If I didn’t sell, bills didn’t get paid.
But now, I’m building from 💓love. From presence. 🧘🏻♀️From peace. 🏞️
From moments like this.
Because this is what matters most.
Not just what we create, but how we show up while creating it.
I hope you’re able to build your life, your work, and your dreams from that same place of love, too.
Happy Love Celebration Day. Be loved and be love. 🫶🏼
