🐾✨ It’s Veterinary Receptionist Appreciation Week! ✨🐾
Let’s give a big shoutout to Julie: a shining star at Woodland West Animal Hospital!
For the past 8 years, Julie has been the friendly face greeting clients and their fur babies, but her journey doesn’t stop there. She’s worked her way up from receptionist to PM lead, and now serves as the overall receptionist team lead, all through dedication, heart, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Julie’s passion for customer service started early, growing up in the original Tally’s Good Food Café in the 90’s, where her grandmother taught her the true meaning of treating every person with kindness, respect, care, and treating every client the way she wants to be treated. That foundation shines through in every interaction she has today.
She has worked multiple customer service jobs over the years, but fell in love with Woodland West Animal Hospital, and made it her "home"! Woodland West Animal Hospital is where Julie's heart belongs!
She’s not just a leader at Woodland West, Julie is also a proud member of the North American Association of Veterinary Receptionists President’s Advisory Council, helping make a difference for veterinary receptionists everywhere.
💫She is also our 2025 employee of the year! 🐶🐱 💫
At home, Julie shares her life with her husband Derek (a fellow animal lover!) and their adorable crew of chihuahuas, pitbulls, and a cat. She has a special soft spot for pitbull babies and senior pets, and she spends her free time training her fur babies, working out, coloring, and enjoying time with her husband, you never know what concert they are going to next!
Julie’s mission is simple but powerful: to make every client feel respected, heard, and valued, every single second of the day, while giving the fur babies all the love!
