I’ll never forgot the stories I got to cover along the former Sheriff in Monroe Co.
One in particular stands out. I was young, like really young in my first reporter gig at WCBI. Long story short, we ended up off roading to get video of a chop shop. I was in the front seat. Wayne Hereford and Tony Peoples were in the back.
Sheriff said buckle up…. I had some choice words on that bumpy ride but we laughed about it for the longest time.

Trying to explain to pookie that his yaya used to be on the big TV, but not quite like Ms. Rachel, level cool…. 🤭

🥹 My dad made the front page of the local paper recently and I finally sat down to read the article. Something I don’t say enough of - how proud I am of my Dad for continuing to stay in local media, going against the grain and not being afraid to have a voice. If you know my dad, then you KNOW!

My dad and his dad, my Bebop, are the reasons I got into journalism to begin with. And although my path looks a little different now, I’m able to reform my path in journalism through podcasting.

And yes we used to joke about who was number 1 and number 2 when i was in local tv but by the looks of it, my Dad definitely came out on top with the company he’s employed for! ♥️

Maybe one day he can make an appearance on the podcast 👀

Great interview Dad and amazing job in capturing my dad, !!! And yes dad, you do need to purge those closets. I believe you’ve accumulated just as much or MORE clothes than myself……. Which is… well… a lot… ♥️

Quick check in post Christmas ♥️ I hope everyone had an amazing holiday week! It’s been great to pause and share time with family and friends lately.
