I’ve been contemplating what my next contemplative science fiction book will be. I thought about Vonnegut’s Slaughter House Five but I find that a bit odd and too heady personally. I think I might go with The Forever War by Joe Haldeman. It’s definitely science fiction but also has some real world issues like dealing with marriage and kids and time dialation. What are its effects on the mind and body? Ever think about that? Anyway that’s the plan.
