Things that could be helpful to bring to CAMP CAMP:

Gloves! Hard-core working gloves.

Extra chainsaw chains (lots) mostly echo CS-590 and CS-3510. But we will have dozens and dozens and dozens so bring whatever you can find. (I’d suggest buying locally before you leave home as kerville area will surely be sold out quickly—think San Antonio or austin).

Tree saw

Any type of machinery thats helpful— skidsteers, bulldozers, excavators bring whatever you’ve got and the bigger the better— we won’t turn you away.

Chainsaw gas 50:50mix

Chainsaw oil

Goggles/eye-protection

Roll-offs and dunlaters for debris and trash

Ear protection

Would be great if two or three people brought some type of van or truck with a trailer or something that we could shuttle people up and down the hill with. We will have limited space at the bottom of the hill and need to park in different areas. I know everyone would appreciate a shuttle. Needs to be something that could get filthy as guys will be getting it out with tools covered in mud, etc.

If anyone has some excellent radios with super long range that a few people could use. Especially shuttle operators. Maybe five radios total for people helping coordinate. Need something that would have a mile plus of range. Something very serious not a kids walkie-talkie.

I need a big white board—camp may have one. Bigger the better

Pop-up tents

Folding tables for food and chainsaws to be worked on

Would be great to have a guy available to work on chainsaws or sharpen blades on site if possible

A BIG print out on paper (thinking 2’ tall by 4’ wide or so) of the river front where we are working. Find camp camp and show a mile in both directions of the river area. Can put up on boards and send people where to go and mark progress.

Gatorade

Ice

Personal cooler

Water

Bug spray

Camping type chair

Jeans and long sleeve shirt to avoid scratches and give protection.

Boots. It’s super muddy.

Make yourself a sandwich but food seems to organically appear.

Would be great to have an ER doc or EMS helping to be available if we have a problem. Lots of people surrounded by dangerous things.

No kids under high school age!! This can be very hard work emotionally and physically. We don’t know what we may find as we work through the brush.

I’ll add things as i think of them…

Thanks again for the amazing support we are receiving.
