Back in June, we shared that Texas Ranger Joshua Ray, a good friend of Project: Cold Case, had worked to solve a 1986 unsolved murder in Texas. Now, we ask for your assistance.

Charles Hardin was 56 years old when he was murdered and discovered in Canyon Lake, Texas. After 35 years, the two men responsible for his death have been arrested.

Despite the advancements in the case, Ranger Ray has been unable to locate or contact any of Charles Hardin's family members. Solving the case removes dangerous people off the streets, but it's vitally important to inform the family.

We are asking you to help share this story in hopes that we can reach the Hardin family or someone that knows them.

Our newest banner has arrived!

The Project: Cold Case office proudly displays six banners that showcase the many Faces of Unsolved Homicide that have been submitted to us by families and law enforcement.

We often take these banners with us whenever we have the opportunity to speak to the community or at events. The banners, featuring about 150 images each, are always wonderful conversation pieces whenever they are set up outside the office.

Hearing that there are an estimated 250,000 unsolved murders in the United States since 1980 is often such a large number that it's difficult to comprehend. But seeing these faces - faces that may look like someone you know and love - can be powerful and drive home the reason for an organization like Project: Cold Case and the fight we take on every single day.

If you have submitted your loved one's case information to Project: Cold Case, their photo is one of these photos. We want you to know that your loved one is not forgotten. Won't be forgotten. Never will be forgotten.

We work diligently every day, every week to best bring awareness to the community of cold cases and the loved ones whose case has yet to be solved.

Consistency has been key in best accomplishing those goals, growing our platform to reach the greatest number of people, and continue to fight for justice for these individuals and their families that are still grieving.

The body of 25-year-old Linda Allomong was discovered in an oil field in California by a high school student hunting for lizards.

Please remember that these are directly submitted by family members. Our organization doesn't investigate cases. Speculation on the details of the case is often more harmful than helpful.

Exactly 45 years after an 11-year-old girl's unsolved murder, police in Southern California have released new sketches of her suspected killer in the hopes of finally solving the decades-old case.

Linda Ann O’Keefe, who loved piano, painting and crafts, was last seen alive on July 6, 1973, as she walked home from summer school, the Newport Beach Police Department said. Her body was found the next day in the Back Bay area but no arrest was ever made.

DNA evidence has identified a prime suspect in the r**e and beating death of Lynda Shaw, a slaying that has remained a mystery in Southern Ontario for 15 years.

But for the family of the young victim, the identity of the alleged perpetrator has not brought closure: Police say that before killing Ms. Shaw, the man was convicted in a double murder and served 12 years in prison -- his life sentence shortened by the parole board because of good behaviour. He left the halfway house just before Ms. Shaw was killed.

And, he's dead.
