HELP … I typically have no concerns about bees being in my yard, but this is a little unsettling. The moving dots are bees. It’s about 1/2 of the swarm. I think they having sought refuge in my gardenia bush. I have no idea where they came from?! I value bees & their contribution to nature. However, I cannot have them setting up house in my gardenia bush. The space is my Daughter’s Memorial Garden, and I work in it all of the time.

How can I move them, safely?

Harvey’s Law. I applaud the efforts to create a safer space for children, while feeling immense saddness for Harvey’s family.

In 1996, my son’s child care had cameras. My children’s schools had cameras. I never once worried about their “data” or “image” being hacked. Maybe that was naive?

I invite all of you, ECE professionals, policy advocates, parents to watch this video. It’s long, but worth the time. Chime in below in the comments. Let’s discuss how to keep children safe in spaces we are meant to trust.
