Tonight on the Recovery Lab, Brynn, David, and Daniel sit down with Erin Polzin, a mother of three, dedicated community connector, and vital member of the Fleet Feet team. Erin shares her honest journey through early sobriety, how she once went through the motions of recovery, and how that evolved into a life of genuine presence and purpose.

With vulnerability and strength, Erin opens up about parenting a child with profound autism, learning to slow down, and discovering what it means to truly show up for her children and for herself. She credits the program and fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous for transforming her life, helping her step into motherhood with clarity, compassion, and connection.

God’s own work in the world reveals His infinite creativity, excellence, and integrity. We reflect him when we work with these characteristics too. Each one of us has a unique creativity because we’re made in the image of the creator God.
But how can we make sure the work we do each and every day draws us closer to God as Christians?
This discussion will help us invite God into every aspect of our work. Regardless, if we are folding laundry, in an office, running a business, or in an entry-level or senior-level position, this time can be a reflection of Him and also remind us we’re a believer on the job as much as anywhere else.

Jackson, Mississippi — a city long marked by both triumph and turbulence — has seen its share of highs and lows. At the heart of its evolving story stands the Jackson Police Department, an institution as tested as the city itself. After years of strain under a troubled administration that many within law enforcement say pushed the department to the brink, a new chapter is underway at City Hall.

With the retention of Chief Joseph Wade at JPD, optimism is cautiously building Chief Wade has been tasked with — and is succeeding at — restoring stability to the department, rebuilding morale, and addressing a growing need for accountability and public trust.

Tonight, on Investigation: Homicide, Chief Wade sits down with us to talk about his plans to recruit new and veteran officers, strengthen partnerships with neighboring agencies, and reestablish confidence in Jackson’s police force.

In this inspiring episode of the Recovery Lab, hosts Brynn Knox, David Sugg, and Daniel Anderson sit down with Malcolm White, a true Mississippi icon whose life story goes far beyond recovery from alcohol. Malcolm is a celebrated entrepreneur, cultural ambassador, and community builder known for co-creating the legendary Hal & Mal's, a cornerstone of Jackson’s music and food scene. He is also the visionary behind the annual Hal’s St. Paddy’s Day Parade, a beloved event that has grown into a major celebration attracting around 60,000 people and contributing over $7 million to the local economy.

Malcolm’s parade journey began in the early '80s with small St. Patrick’s Day parties at George Street Grocery. In 1983, he turned that idea into a parade, which has since evolved into a vibrant, themed rite of spring that celebrates Jackson’s culture and community. The parade, now held on the fourth Saturday in March, features creative floats, costumes, and themes and raises funds for local charities like the Children’s of Mississippi Hospital.

As a former director of Visit Mississippi and the Mississippi Arts Commission, Malcolm has dedicated his life to promoting the arts, culture, and heritage of Mississippi. Join us as Malcolm shares his journey of resilience, his passion for community, and how he's used his platform to uplift others through food, music, and culture. Moving from primarily listening to the noise of society to focusing on hearing God's voice is a process of shifting your priorities and cultivating a deeper relationship with Him.

Sometimes we hear our own voice or the voice of society for many different reasons and say we have heard from God. But, have we really heard from God?

This discussion will remind Christian Women of the tools God has given us to hear directly from Him. He speaks directly to us. By using these tools, we can live a purposeful, meaningful, and joyful life as God intended, knowing that we have heard from God and no one else.

Rise, Christian women! It’s time to live life hearing the voice of God.
